Athens Sounion private  tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city and of course our next visit it will be Cape Sounion and Poseidon Temple, located at  South part of Attica, surrounded by the Aegean Sea.

You'll be taken to see the center of the city. On our way to the Acropolis you will see the Old City (Plaka) the Roman Agora, Hadrian's Library, the Ancient Athenian Agora, Thesseon, and the Pnyx "The hill of Democracy". You will also climb  the Acropolis  to see the famous theaters of Dionysus and Herodes Atticus and the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the temple of Athena Nike, the Erechteion and finally, "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that puts "order in the mind", the Parthenon and have time to visit its Museum.

Athens Sounion private tour leaves Athens for a wonderful drive along the scenic coastal road which affords a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf. Passing through some of Athens most beautiful suburbs (elegant areas of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza) we will arrive at Cape Sounion  where you will visit the 5th century B.C. temple of Poseidon with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world (on a clear day you can see at least seven islands). What about a lunch in front water? The tour is private and flexible and we know the best spots...No far is the picturesque Port of Lavrion... If there is time we will included it in our schedule... We will return to Athens through mainland.

Why Greece taxi: Because, we visit Athens & Cape Sounion as travelers, we get as excited as you, we love traveling & photography...We love what we do...:) Although we have greatly enjoyed traveling around Greece, checking out places, taking photos and writing our text, as we are sure you can appreciate, it was at great expense and also time consuming. We continue to develop the site updating and adding new information constantly. Athens Sites & Museums: Summer: daily, 8.00 to 20.00 pm. Winter: 8.00 to 17.00 Last entry 30 min before closing. Entrance fee to Acropolis 20 Euro. Optional Ticket 30 Euro for more 4 sites

Fee to Poseidon temple 6 Euro.

Closed on Holidays: January 1st. , March 25th, May 1st, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. On Good Friday, the sites are open 12.00 - 17.00.
